The Calendly alternative built around getting paid.

If you already share a scheduling link, BookMyTime will feel familiar. The difference is that payment, per-slot pricing and more than one meeting type are part of the product from the start, including on the Free plan.

Same job, different center of gravity

Product details below were reviewed in October 2026. Competitors change their plans. Check their pricing page before you buy, and check ours. Calendly popularised the personal booking link: connect a calendar, share a URL, stop the email thread. BookMyTime does that job and treats payment as part of booking, not as an add-on you discover on a higher tier.

Choose Calendly if your organisation already runs on it, your admins know it, and you do not need to take payment when the meeting is booked. Choose BookMyTime if the meeting is something you sell, or if you are tired of a free plan that only really schedules one kind of conversation.

Payments

BookMyTime's Free plan includes Stripe payments. A slot can require payment before it is confirmed. Pro, at $12 a month, adds per-slot pricing and deposits. Every plan keeps a 1% BookMyTime fee on the guest payment. Read paid appointments for the flow.

Calendly can collect payments, but that capability has historically sat on paid plans rather than the free scheduling link. Confirm the current plan on Calendly's pricing page. Do not take a blog post's dollar figure as a quote.

Meeting types and teams

The Free plan includes one event type of up to 30 minutes. Starter includes three, and Pro removes the cap. One-on-one types are described on the meeting types page. Team scheduling is on the Business plan, at $15 per seat. See team scheduling and demo scheduling.

Calendly's team features, including round-robin, have typically required a paid team plan. If you are a solo consultant, that difference may not matter. If you are a team comparing total cost, count seats and the features you will actually turn on, using both vendors' live prices.

What switching actually involves

Recreate your meeting types, connect calendars, and replace the links in signatures, sites and campaigns. There is a one-click import path for event types so you are not retyping every duration by hand. Allow a quiet hour, not a project, for a solo setup. A team should pilot with one pod before changing every public link.

Keep the old links up until the new page has taken a real booking. We do not invent time-saved statistics for this. The honest test is whether a client can pick a slot and, if you charge, pay, without writing to you.
