Who this policy covers

This policy applies to bookmytime.me and the BookMyTime app. 'We' means BookMyTime. Contact hello@bookmytime.me for privacy requests. If you book time with someone who uses BookMyTime, they are the host of that meeting. We process the booking so the host can keep it.

This is a working policy for the product as it is built today. If your organisation needs a signed data-processing agreement or a regional addendum, ask us before you put regulated data on the platform.

What we collect

Account data: name, email address, password credential (stored by our auth provider), profile details you add, and time zone. Booking data: meeting type, time, guest name and email, intake answers the host configured, and the status of the booking.

Payment data: if a host enables payments, Stripe or PayPal processes the card. We store the amount, currency, status and a reference so we can show the booking and send a receipt. We do not store the full card number. Calendar data: we read busy and free times from calendars you connect, and we write events you confirm. Technical data: browser type, pages visited, and coarse logs needed to run and secure the service.

Why we use it

To create your account, show real availability, confirm bookings, send confirmations and reminders, take payment when you have asked us to, and prevent abuse. We do not sell personal information. We do not use booking details to train public AI models.

Hosts are responsible for having a reason to collect intake answers. Do not ask guests for health records, government ID numbers, or anything you would not want on a calendar invite.

Who else processes it

Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore and related Google Cloud services) stores accounts and booking data. Cloudflare serves the site. Stripe and PayPal process payments when a host connects them. Google, Microsoft and Apple process calendar connections when you approve them. Email and, on paid plans, SMS or WhatsApp providers send the messages you configure.

These providers act so we can run BookMyTime. Their own privacy notices describe their independent uses of account data you give them directly, such as a Stripe account.

How long we keep it, and your choices

We keep account and booking data while the account is open and for a limited period afterwards to handle disputes, refunds and backups. You can disconnect calendars and payment providers yourself. To delete an account, email us from the account address. We will delete or anonymise booking content we no longer need to keep for legal reasons.

Guests can ask the host, or us, about a booking that includes them. We may need to keep a record of a payment even after other details are deleted, because payment providers and tax rules require it. You can also use your browser controls to limit non-essential storage. The product does not require a marketing-cookie banner to function.
