Tutors and teachers
Lesson booking students can finish without you.
Students book and prepay lessons. Weekly slots recur. Parents get the reminder. Your calendar only offers the hours you still have.

Weekly lessons are a series, not a fresh negotiation
Tutoring falls apart when every week starts with 'does Thursday still work?'. A recurring meeting type books the series. A package of lessons means the parent pays once and the student picks from the times you actually teach.
Keep a separate type for trial lessons. Trials are shorter, sometimes free, and should have a daily limit so they do not replace paid teaching hours.
The person who pays is often not the person who attends
Intake questions can collect the student name, the subject, the level and the parent email. Reminders can go where they will be read. Email is on every plan. SMS and WhatsApp, which parents actually see, are on Pro.
Cancellation rules matter more in tutoring than in most businesses, because a missed lesson is an hour you cannot resell the same evening. Publish the notice window on the booking page and let reschedules happen from the reminder link.
School hours, evenings, and the calendar you already use
Connect the calendar that already holds your other students. Two-way sync hides those hours. If you teach across time zones, the page shows the family their local time. The time zone converter is there when you want to check a message by hand.
Video links for Zoom, Google Meet or Teams are attached to the invite, so you are not pasting a room into a chat ten minutes before the lesson.
