Therapists and wellness
Scheduling for therapists that stays quiet and clear.
Private intake, a cancellation rule people can read before they book, reminders that do not nag, and payment taken when the session is reserved.

The booking page is part of the practice
A therapy booking page should not look like a sales calendar. BookMyTime lets you use your name, a short bio, your colors and only the session types you actually offer: an intake, a 50-minute session, a longer first appointment. Branding removal and a custom domain are on Pro, described on the pricing page.
Keep clinical notes out of the booking form. Intake questions are for logistics and what you need in order to accept the booking, not for the content of the work. Say that on the page so people know what they are submitting.
Payment and the cancellation policy, in one place
Holding a therapy hour for someone who has not paid, and has not read your late-cancel rule, is how weeks unravel. Paid booking confirms the session after checkout. The cancellation window is the one you set. Refunds follow it.
Recurring sessions suit weekly work. A package suits people who want to commit to a block. Both are meeting types, not a second product.
What BookMyTime does and does not hold
Calendar access is OAuth and can be revoked. Card numbers stay with Stripe or PayPal. Booking details are encrypted in transit. The security page and the privacy policy describe this in plain language. BookMyTime is scheduling and payment infrastructure. It is not a clinical record system, and it should not be used as one.
Reminders should be short: time, how to join or where to go, and how to reschedule. You choose the schedule. You can leave SMS off.
One calendar for the practice, without double booking
Connect the calendar that already holds supervision, teaching or a second practice. Sync will not offer those hours. If you share a room, block the room calendar too, up to six calendars on Pro.
If you have been evaluating clinic-style tools, the Acuity alternative page explains where BookMyTime fits and where a fuller practice-management suite is the better buy.
